Services Available: Services are for family day care providers to help them serve nutrition, well-balanced meals.  Reimbursement is given for up to 2 meals, 1 snack or 2 snacks, 1 meal per day per child.  Monitoring and nutition education (in home and workshops).

Services Available:Child Development and Child Care services for toddlers and preschoolers.   Afterschool program is located at Athens Elementary.

Hours of Operation:  M-F 7:30a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Area Served:  Mercer County and surrounding areas

Eligibility Criteria:  None - approximately 60 children daily

Program:Head Start

Physical Location:  8 Centers in Mercer County - Bluefield-Mt.Zion, Bluefield-Kennedy Center     Glenwood, Brushfork, Athens Road, Lashmeet, Hinton & Talcott.
