We accept three and four year old children and children as they turn three. The educational program provides a variety of learning experiences including classroom activities, field trips, and guest speakers. Children participate in indoor and outdoor play and are introduced to the concepts of words and numbers.
They learn about community helpers, weather, animals, families, and seasons, as well as how to develop a positive selfconcept. The children learn how to get along with others.
Each Head Start classroom is staffed by a Lead Teacher and a teacher aide. This insures a low child to staff ratio of 9 to 1.
