October 2023 Newsletter
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
As the leaves begin their vibrant transformation and the crisp autumn air settles in, we at CASEWV reflect on a September filled with heartwarming events and exciting developments.
Our littlest learners celebrated Grandparents Day with heartwarming performances and crafts, creating cherished memories with their loved ones.
Meanwhile, our Weatherization team expanded its ranks with talented new staff members, ready to make homes across the region more energy-efficient and comfortable.
September also saw the return of our beloved Senior Citizen Prom, a night of music, laughter, and dancing. It was truly heartwarming to see our seniors reveling in the joy of the evening.
Project Yes inspired Bluefield Middle School students with a visit focused on healthy decision-making and community engagement.
Looking ahead to October, we're excited to participate in Trunk or Treat events in both Summers and Mercer counties, bringing smiles to faces young and old. Be sure to mark your calendars and join the fun! You can find our event specifics by checking out our Facebook (link at the bottom of this page).
Weatherization Tip: As temperatures drop, consider installing weatherstripping around doors and windows to prevent drafts and keep your home cozy while saving on energy bills.
Remember, you can always stay up-to-date on our latest news and events by visiting CASEWV.org.
As we embrace the beauty of autumn, we extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated staff, volunteers, and community partners who make our work possible. Together, we're building a brighter future for Southeastern West Virginia.
Warmly,
The CASEWV Team
