Providers
CASEWV seeks compassionate and dedicated In-Home Care Providers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. Providers play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with personal care, housework, and transportation to doctor’s appointments. The ideal applicant will have a High School Diploma or GED, dependable vehicle, and valid driver’s license. Previous experience working in the home care field is preferred. Our clients are from all over Mercer County and providers' work will be in their clients' homes either on a part-time or full-time schedule. The Commission on Aging office and senior center is in Princeton, WV.
Head Start
Behavior Health & Disability Assistant
CASEWV, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Behavior Health & Disability Assistant. This role will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of mental health and disabilities services and all related data within Head Start and Early Head Start program, as well as the monitoring and coordination of referrals and service provision for children with suspected and identified disabilities. The ideal applicant must have a High School Diploma and one-year teaching experience in an infant/toddler or early childhood classroom. Additional certifications in CDA credentials, state-awarded certificate (ACDS) that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential, or associate degree in Early Childhood Development is preferred. This is a full-time position located at New Hope Head Start Center in Princeton, WV.
Bus Driver
CASEWV, Inc. is seeking a dedicated School Bus Driver for our Head Start Program. The bus driver plays a vital role in transporting children to and from Head Start, conducting pre-check and post checks to ensure the bus operates properly, and ensuring the safety of our students. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid CDL driver’s license (with P/S/ and air brake endorsements). This position is offered at full-time or part-time and will be located at one of the three Mercer County Head Start locations.
Substitute Cook
CASEWV, Inc. is seeking dedicated substitute cooks to join our Head Start team. The cook plays a vital role in preparing food for children that meets daily requirements, record keeping, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen. The ideal applicant will have a High School Diploma or GED and preferably two years’ food preparation. This is a substitute position that will have you rotating at one of our three Mercer County Head Start locations, as needed.
MIECHV Home Visitation
Home Visitor
CASEWV is seeking an individual passionate about making a difference in the lives of families. The Home Visitor plays a crucial role in supporting families by providing in-home services that promote child development and family well-being. This position provides comprehensive child development services, in the home environment, including support of the parent / child relationship though education focused actives, home visits, group socialization, case management and family advocacy. The ideal applicants will have Home-Based Child Development Associate (CDA) or Apprenticeship for Child Development Specialist (ACDS) certification, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate or bachelor’s degree, and good communication and computer skills. This is a full-time position based out of the MIECHV Home Visitation office in Bluefield, WV.
Weatherization
Weatherization Technician
CASEWV is seeking two (2) dedicated crew members to join our Weatherization Program with a passion for helping families in Southeastern West Virginia. This position will perform weatherization services in eligible homes in Raleigh, Summers, Monroe, and Mercer counties. This position will perform weatherization program related duties on homes in an organized and effective manner under supervision. The ideal applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and must be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, work on roof and work in confined areas on low-income family homes. Experience in HVAC is a plus, but not necessary. You will be trained in weatherization labor skills. This is a full-time position out of the Raleigh County Weatherization Warehouse in Midway, WV.
