Chief Operating Officer (COO)

CASEWV, Inc. is accepting applications for Chief Operating Officer (COO).  As an integral member of the agency's Executive team, the COO provides direct managerial and supervisory support to agency programs - ensuring daily functions, legal and program compliance, and budget maintenance.  The COO also provides support to the CEO as necessary - including, but not limited to, supporting the agency's planning and evaluation systems, implementing cross-functional teams, and ensuring continuous quality improvement.  Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree, a master's degree is preferred; have experience in management, fiscal operations, and staff supervision; and have exceptional written and verbal communication and organization skills.

Commission on Aging

In- Home Providers

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for In-Home Providers for the Commission on Aging Program to dutifully enhance the quality of life and care for Commission on Aging’s In-Home Care clients in Mercer County – assisting with personal care, housework, and transportation to appointments. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, have a dependable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license. Previous experience working in the home care field is preferred. This position is offered at part-time or full-time, scheduled depending on clients’ needs.  Work will be conducted at clients' homes. The Commission on Aging office is located in Princeton, WV.

Head Start

Family Service Advocate

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for Family Service Advocate to assist local families and children enrolled in the Head Start program in Mercer County. FSAs perform the necessary duties required to implement the Head Start Program’s Family and Community Engagement services, health services, services for children with disabilities, transition services, and services to enrolled pregnant women. Duties include making home visits, recruiting children for the program, scheduling required health services, and transporting children and families to needed services. A high school diploma or GED is required. Within 18 months of hire, at a minimum, applicants must have a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or a related field. This is a full-time, 12-month position located in Mercer County.

Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the health needs of children enrolled in the Head Start Program in Mercer and Summers counties. The LPN ensures goals, policies, and activities are being implemented within health services objectives and performance standards. This includes creating Plan of Cares for children (including various health-related administrations), basic health screenings for children, providing training and assistance to staff and parents, and assisting in coordination of health services activities. An active LPN licensure with the WV Board of Practical Nursing is required. Experience with young children and teaching CPR, First Aid & AED is preferred. This is a full-time, 12-month position based out of the New Hope Head Start Center in Princeton, WV.

Nutrition Outreach Assistant

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for Nutrition Outreach Assistant to assist with nutritional services and educational programming for parents and children enrolled in the Head Start program. The Nutrition Outreach Assistant will help in the preparation of food for enrolled children, assist in planning and implementing nutritional educational activities, and coordinate nutritional parent engagement and educational activities across the program. A high school diploma or GED and experience working with children and families in the community is required. A food hander’s permit and prior experience cooking for a childcare center is preferred. This is a part-time position located in Mercer County.

Substitute Cook

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for Substitute Cook to provide nutritious meals to children enrolled in the Head Start Program. Cooks prepare food for children that meets daily requirements, conducts record keeping, and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen. A high school diploma or GED is required and preferably two years’ experience in food preparation. This is a substitute position that will rotate at one of our three Mercer County Head Start locations, as needed.

Recovery Housing

Peer Recovery Support Specialist

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for Recovery Support Specialist for the Recovery Housing Service program. Peer Recovery Support Specialists help remove personal and environmental obstacles to recovery, link the newly recovering person to the recovery community, and serve as a navigator and mentor in the management of personal and family recovery. Applicants are required to have a high school degree or GED; PRSS Certification from the West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction and Prevention Professionals; living experience with substance use challenges (history of criminal justice involvement preferred); involved with a personal support and/or recovery system; reside in stable, recovery-oriented housing the last six (6) months; have no legal involvement within the last six (6) months and/or pending legal issues; and no intensive behavioral health treatment involvement within the last six (6) months (including intensive services, crisis stabilization/detoxification services, residential treatment services and/or psychiatric hospitalization). Veterans are given priority consideration for this position. In addition, all applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation. This is a full-time position located in Bluefield, WV.

Weatherization

Weatherization Technician

CASEWV, Inc. is seeking applicants for Weatherization Technician to effectively complete home improvements under the Weatherization program for area families in southeastern West Virginia including Mercer, Monroe, Raleigh, and Summers counties. Technicians weatherize homes in an organized and effective manner.  Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, have valid driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work on roofs and in confined areas in homes. Experience in HVAC is preferred. Training in weatherization labor skills will be provided. This is a full-time position based in Midway, WV.
