What is Home Visitation?

Our program serves children and families throughout Mercer County. We conduct home visits weekly and peer group activities twice a month. Our goal is to provide children with developmentally appropriate educational activities that enhance their school readiness. We provide educational materials to expectant mothers and help prepare them for the arrival of their new baby. Our program focuses on the family as a whole. We help connect families to resources within their community that may be beneficial to the family’s needs.

This program is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Resources (HHS) under grant number X10MC33617, Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Grant Program. CASEWV’S Home Visitation Program is dedicated to fostering strong, supportive, and empowered families through personalized, compassionate, and evidence-based interventions. Our mission is to provide comprehensive, family-centered support that enhances the well-being and development of children, strengthens parent-child bonds, and promotes healthy family dynamics. Through collaborative partnerships and community engagement, we strive to empower families with the resources and skills necessary to thrive, ultimately creating a nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

CDC’s Milestone Tracker App

Track your child’s milestones from age 2 months to 5 years with CDC’s easy-to-use illustrated checklists; get tips from CDC for encouraging your child’s development; and find out what to do if you are ever concerned about how your child is developing.

From birth to age 5, your child should reach milestones in how he or she plays, learns, speaks, acts, and moves. Photos and videos in this app illustrate each milestone and make tracking them for your child easy and fun!

CASEWV MIECHV Home Visitiation holds monthly socializations in our offices for program participants to socialize, learn and grow.
